Too many people mindlessly turn the TV on after a hard day's work .Watching TV is easy, inviting, and not taxing for the brain. However, watching television for the 60 minutes before you to sleep is really bad for you. The blue light from the TV affects the pineal gland in your brain, which means it doesn't produce the melatonin you need for deep, quality sleep.
So what, now what? Switch off the TV for the last hour before you go to sleep and use this time to pursue a hobby, do light stretches on your bedroom floor (to de-stress) , read and spend quality time with your loved ones.
